Dates and Itinerary Dates & Itinerary for 2012

Day 1
Fly to Longyearbyen in Svalbard. Stay in the highest town in the arctic circle.
Day 2
Dogsled trip – Lead your own team of dogs around the fiords and mountains of Spitsbergen.
Day 3
Trek into the naturally-formed ice caves in the mountains.
Day 4
Snowmobile trip – Further exploration of the Arctic wilderness.
Day 5
Snowshoe half day – Afternoon.
Day 6
Rest day and preparation for the expedition.
Day 7 – 10
A 3-day expedition. Wilderness trekking and camping with experienced polar guides. A chance to experience the incredible scenery and spot the local wildlife, including the Polar Bear!
Day 11
Expedition finish – Head back to Longyearbyen for hot showers and a celebratory team meal.
Day 12
Fly home.
